The 2012 1 oz Gold Kangaroo coin from Australia’s Perth Mint, has the unique honor of being one of just a handful of gold coins that changes its design every year.
The 2012 Kangaroo displays a red kangaroo standing in the foreground with a windmill in the background.
There were 350,000 of these one ounce gold coins designated for production in 2012. Each has a face value of 100 Australian Dollars.
